Tubakuze Project “Making them Grow”

The Tubakuze Project is the project funded by European Union Commission in Rwanda aimed at strengthening ECD services delivery in Rwanda.

Key objectives of Tubakuze Project:

 

  • Increase access to quality ECD, including for the most vulnerable communities; 

  • Strengthen links between ECD facilities and school-based ecds; 

  • Strengthen the systems supporting ecds at district, sector, village level; 

  • Reduce stunting and malnutrition through improved WASH interventions at household level and ECD facilities. 

The Tubakuze Project is a 3-year project implemented by National Child Development Agency (NCDA) and its field of operation is countrywide. 
 

Targeted beneficiaries:

  • Children in ECD settings including children with special needs in ECDs and children from the most vulnerable communities
  • Caregivers and other community workforce (CHWs, IZU).
  • School Head Teachers
  • Parents, families with children in ECD settings
  • District staff and NCDA staff
